Dr. Epifanio began his career as a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with a Specialization in Gynecology, Obstetrics and Infertility; After having achieved his degree, he completed both a Master’s Degree in Human Reproduction and a European Diploma in Operative Endoscopy.

Main achievements

Since 2018 Dr. Roberto Epifanio is Founder and Medical-Scientific Director of The Fertile Group, covering the Medical Director position at DOMISALUD since 2016 too.
His outstanding work in the Panamanian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which began in 2011, culminated as President of that society (SPOG) since 2017.

Prior to current positions already mentioned, Dr. Epifanio was one of the key members to whom IVI, the international group of clinics dedicated to Assisted Reproduction entrusted his then successful expansion in Latin America, appointing him as Director of IVI Panama Clinic since 2005 to 2018.

After having contributed with his figure and scientific knowledge in placing Panama on the map as a reference of good practices in Assisted Human Reproduction, Dr. Epifanio decided to found The Fertile Group, with the mission of shaping his tireless commitment to integral women’s health of in all the phases of their lives.

Roberto Epifanio began his career as a highly specialized gynecologist in 2002, as Sub-specialist in Infertility, Reproductive Endocrinology and Assisted Reproduction precisely at IVI headquarters, Spain, and at University of Valencia, Spain, transferring his knowledge to Panama in 2005 as Specialist Physician at Social Security Fund Metropolitan Hospital Complex and at Royal Center Medical Offices, always in Panama.
